Join our Intro to Meditation classes Thursdays for an introduction and exploration of the foundation of meditative practice. Classes are held at noon in our Balanced Rock Classroom, taught by Sami Ruggles and Shawnee Kyle.
Our Intro to Meditation pack is a 6 week series designed to explore the foundations of meditation practice. Taught by the wonderful Sami Ruggles in our Balance Rock Classroom.
Presented by Barbara Zago: Sound Practitioner, Founder and Owner of Magic Valley Sound Sanctuary, and Teacher and Tutor for The Sound Healing Academy International.
During this Sound Bath you will experience the beautiful sounds of the monochord, a crystal harp, gongs, Tibetan and crystal singing bowls and a variety of percussion instruments including the ocean drum. The vibrational healing qualities of these instruments resonate deeply within the body's energy system to help release stress and tension in the body.
The Sound Bath will include a demonstration of the seven sounds of love which is a vocal practice to awaken the energies of love within you. These sacred sounds have a deeply calming effect on our consciousness.
Please bring a pillow, yoga mat and or blanket for your comfort.

Taught by Robin Bailly: Our 4 week guided meditation schedule varies, but is usually held on Thursday evenings at 7pm starting the first week of the month. A new meditation will be focused on each week.
In this workshop you will learn: what belief systems are, how they affect emotions and behavior, meditation techniques, how to ground yourself in the present moment, and how essential oils work with your emotions and assist you in releasing blocked emotions and unhealthy belief patterns.

The meditations are specifically geared to help you calm your mind, release stress and anxiety, decrease depression, increase joy and optimism in your life, reduce emotional and physical pain, restore healthy function in your body, increase creativity and productivity, and attain emotional balance. The meditations are based off of my training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBRS).
Essential oils are one tool to help balance and align our Chakra system. An unbalanced Chakra system can wreak havoc on our physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. In this fun and interactive workshop I will introduce you to the Chakra system and how to use a pendulum (you even get to make your own pendulum). I will then guide you through using the charts and making your personalized blend. We will end the class by using your oil blend with a meditation.
Included in the class are materials to make your pendulum, essential oils and roller bottle to create your blend, my book Chakra and Essential Oils Pendulum Charts.
